Day at the Fire Station is a nationwide event for the whole family. It is celebrated all over Finland on Saturday, 22 November 2025. The event will give visitors the skills to improve fire safety in their homes.
Participants will learn a wide range of safety skills in the event. Do you know how to perform first-aid extinguishing? Are you able to get out of your home in an emergency? How do you prevent cooker fires?
The event will also give you an insight into fire brigade activities and fire engines.
The event attracts more than 110 000 visitors. It is the largest safety event in Finland. Each fire station organises an event that matches the needs and wishes of the station.
