Our telephone numbers are changing

The telephone numbers for our Situation Centre and on-duty fire prevention officer will change as of 1 March 2023.

Starting 1 March 2023 at 9.00, the telephone number for the Western Uusimaa Rescue Department’s Situation Centre is 029 151 2112. The Situation Centre provides round-the-clock assistance to its partner and customers in matters pertaining to rescue services and emergency medical services. Situation Centre email addresses: general customer service lansi-uusimaa@pelastustoimi.fi, for public authorities tilannekeskus.lu@pelastustoimi.fi. 

Starting 1 March 2023 at 9.00, the telephone number for our on-duty fire prevention officer is 029 151 2512. The on-duty fire prevention officer is available Mon–Fri from 9.00 to 11.30. You can contact the on-duty fire prevention officer if you have questions, for example, about fire inspections, permits, chimney sweeping, emergency plans or accident prevention. Outside the telephone hours, you can send an email to palotarkastaja.lu@pelastustoimi.fi. 

The changes pertain to our Rescue Department becoming a part of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County since the beginning of 2023. The email addresses for our personnel are in the form of firstname.lastname@pelastustoimi.fi The fire station postal addresses no longer include P.O. Box numbers. The addresses to our fire stations

Registry Office / services for public authorities  

The address of the Registry Office is kirjaamo@luvn.fi. The Registry Office processes documents intended for the Rescue Department's local government officers, such as contracts, requests for an opinion, requests for an administrative review, official notices and other matters that require official registration. The Registry Office's postal address is P.O. Box 33, 02033 WESTERN UUSIMAA WELLBEING SERVICES COUNTY.
