Helpline numbers
The helpline numbers are there for you
When you call one of the non-urgent helplines, you keep the Emergency Response Centres' lines free for those who have real emergencies. If a tree falls across the road, for example, this is not an emergency unless there is a direct risk to people or the environment for some other reason.
Only call 112 in a pressing emergency. This way you can give a chance to someone who is facing a real emergency. Thank you for helping!
The helplines that you can call if your need for help is not urgent are there to provide information to citizens and reduce the number of unnecessary emergency calls.
