Accessibility means that as many people as possible can use online services as easily as possible.

This accessibility statement, last updated on 26 October 2022, concerns the pelastustoimi.fi website. The website is subject to the requirements of the Act on the Provision of Digital Services. Under the Act, public online services must be accessible.
Status of the accessibility of the digital service
The pelastustoimi.fi website largely meets the accessibility requirements.
An accessibility audit of the service was carried out in spring 2022. The shortcomings identified in the audit have been corrected for the most part, and the remaining ones are in the process of being corrected. Changes and corrections that require platform updates, publication system updates or operating system updates will be made by the system suppliers. The aim is to make them as quickly as possible.
Rescue departments are responsible for the accessibility of their websites. Any deficiencies are described in facility-specific accessibility statements.

If you are not satisfied with the reply or if you do not receive a response within two weeks, please report this to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland. Commitment to improving the accessibility of digital services
We are committed to improving the accessibility of our digital services.
The pelastustoimi.fi website is being continuously developed. Some of the materials and functionalities are not yet complete (including e-services, language versions).
The website server is maintained by Valtori. The online service operates on the Government’s joint publication platform. The accessibility of the platform and publication system is being continuously developed by the systems suppliers.
This accessibility statement is updated periodically.
